Quite interesting in this Linux Gazette piece is that ext3/2 is now quicker in most scenarios than ReiserFS 3 or 4 when using the 2.6.14.4 kernel. Seeing as I’ve had some corruption problems with ReiserFS 3, I’ve decided to move my data partitions to ext3 and I’m running 2.6.15 with Con Kolivas’ patches so let’s see…
