Quite interesting is the fact that the Tosh would appear to run a form of linux ( in this case possibly Red Hat ). Let’s hope the GPL is credited appropriately. Also intersting in the comments section is that fact that BluRay ( initially only support mpeg2 on pre-recorded disks ) will have to up their bitrate to match VC1 quality and as a result loose space on the disk … Will have to wait until BluRay gains VC1 support. VC1 is based on MS’ Windows Media 9 codec and MPEG4 is based on H.264.
